The experience of migrating infrastructure from AWS to Microsoft Azure was not only a pivotal professional development moment for us but also a chance to deepen our understanding of cloud technologies. Learning that the project scope I had read prior was not the same as the one described in the Kickoff meeting was a surprise. When the new project scope was described, it felt beyond my skill set. However, the team provided excellent support throughout the project, which led to the successful completion of the work. Thought waiting for the new environment and access to the new environment delayed the start, Alex and the team were patient, flexible, and understanding, which allowed me to complete the tasks at my own pace. I was able to complete the tasks assigned to me, and I learned new skills and concepts and gained valuable experience.
